Torre di Talamonaccio - A slice of heaven on the Mediterranean Sea in Tuscany
Torre di Talamonaccio. Amid the pristine natural wonders of the Maremma Natural Park, the Villa, an ancient Spanish tower that was built to protect the land from the Saracen invasions, is now an ideal and charming accommodation for a dream-like holiday.
The tower dates back to the 13th century, and has been recently restored and furnished with 19th century antiques. It is surrounded by a large garden where the private pool and jacuzzi are found. The beach is just 500 metres from the Villa.
Amidst the greenery of the garden, a terrace has been transformed into a splendid panoramic lookout. It is the perfect place to sit and bask in the wonderful sunshine, take a dip in the swimming pool or to enjoy the company of good friends and a glass of wine around the barbecue after sunset. From the villa, a path leads down to the sea and a sunbathing deck.
From the living room there is the access to a splendid terrace equipped with table, chairs and barbecue, perfect to dine.
There is a private pool of 6x4 metres.
On entering the front door, to the right is a dining area with fireplace, and two double bedrooms each with independent bathrooms: one with a bathtub; the other with a shower. Continuing on, along the entrance corridor and to the left of the dining room, we find a fully equipped modern kitchen. At the end of the corridor there is a third bedroom with private bath, complete with bathtub and shower. At the end of this corridor there is a staircase which leads to the first floor. Here we find a large air conditioned living room with fireplace, where one can relish a magnificent 180° panorama. This living-room is furnished with comfortable armchairs and sofas at one end, and an antique wooden dining table which can seat up to 8 people at the other. From this living-room, one has access to a splendid terrace which is divided into two areas: dining on one side and deckchairs for relaxation and sunbathing on the other. The view from the terrace is spectacular. It captures Porto S. Stefano and the hills of Mount Argentario; Talamone, with its charming walled town; the hills of the Uccellina Natural Park; as well as the islands of Giannutri, Giglio and Montecristo, a famous marine park. On returning to the open space on the ground floor, there is a small staircase which leads to the lookout tower. This, too, has been restored, and is divided into two floors. The lower level has a bedroom with fireplace; the upper level has a sitting room, dressing room, small bathroom with shower, and terrace. La Torre di Talamonaccio is equipped with satellite television and internet. Every window has mosquito screens and every bedroom has ceiling fans.
The villa has a modern fully equipped kitchen.
All the necessary to cook/dine: microwave oven,dishwasher, washing machine.
Linens are included in price and are changed on Wednesday and on Saturday.
How to reach Us by Car
From the North: Take the highway that goes along the coast from Genova to Pisa. Follow the signs for Grosseto and Rome. Then take the Aurelia road and exit at Fonteblanda.
From the South: Highway A12 to Civitavecchia. Then take the Aurelia road and exit at Fonteblanda.

Possibility of short stays of minimum 3 nights, available from January 6th till June 2nd and from September 29th till December 15th.
The tower can be rented to 9 people adding an extra bed, in this case, extra charge would be 500,00 Euro per week.
Weekly rentals start and end on Saturday.
Refundable Damage Deposit: € 1.500 must be sent prior to check-in. The Damage Deposit will be returned after check-out unless damages are found or extra services have to paid.
