Cottage Michelangelo - A natural oasis of peace in a tucked-away corner of Tuscany

Cottage Michelangelo is located within the agrotouristic complex “Forte di Tregognano”, in the heart of Tuscany, at just 12 km. from the ancient city of Arezzo. The site presents definitely strong emotions to those who for the first time are about to discover the hidden side of Tuscany that is only an hour away from Florence and Siena. This is a part of Tuscany surely less known, but rich in treasures to be discovered and which has the power to completely regenerate the body and the mind of those who stay. The large swimming pool and the romantic gardens with fragrant Mediterranean herbs ensure guests relaxation and refreshment.

Garden Description

The garden was renovated in 2002. The original plants of olive trees, juniper bushes, mulberry trees, have been preserved and it has been enriched with medicinal herbs (lavender, thyme, sage and rosemary) and numerous Mediterranean Italian essences. Outdoor dining can be enjoyed on the beautiful private terrace.

Parking Facilities

A large parking lot outside, but partially covered, is available to guests.

Pool Description

Inside the garden, in a panoramic position, lies the swimming pool 6x12, 1,50 mt. deep, shared with the other 6 houses of the Forte Tregognano.

Around the pool, the sun beds with mattresses and two shady gazebos.

Interiors Description

The Cottage is detached with a bright living room with fireplace, a small kitchen, a double bedroom with an additional single bed and a spacious bathroom.

The Cottage is elegantly finished with traditional exposed beams and a beautiful private terrace.

Small open kitchen area.

Kitchen Equipment

Sink, 4 gas burners, microwave, fridge with ice.

Linens

Bed linen, towels and kitchen linen is included. It is foreseen a weekly change.
