Villa Paola - Ancient 18th-century farmhouse on the hills of Florence

Villa Paola is located at the end of a tree-lined parkway, which crosses 20,000 square meters of fields and hills. In the same property there is another villa, but the facilities are separate and each has its own private area. The property is surrounded by the typical Tuscan countryside with vineyards, olive groves and fruit trees. The surrounding park makes the villa the ideal place for a relaxing holiday while the proximity of Florence is convenient for easy visits to the beautiful Renaissance city.The villa is located in Lastra a Signa, just 7 km away from Florence. The villa is on the upper floor of a prestigious 18th century building and has been recently restored and elegantly furnished. The owner lives in an independent area of the villa and is available to help with any questions that guests might have.

Garden Description

The beautiful garden surrounding the villa has a natural enclosure consisting of trees, bushes and flowering plants. The garden is a magnificent place to relax in the peace and quiet of the countryside. Outdoor dining can be enjoyed on the terrace that has a table for 4 people, or in a relaxing corner of the garden that is equipped area for meals and has a barbecue. In addition, on request, guests can dine by the pool.

Pool Description

50 meters from the villa there is the beautiful, borderless newly built pool, of m. 7x14 with a depth ranging from m. 1.20 to m. 2.20. The pool is shared with the guests of the neighboring villa and is fully equipped with chairs suitable for relaxing in the sun.

The pool is open from May 1st to September 30th.

Parking Facilities

Access to the villa is via a gate at the end of a tree-lined parkway. There is a garage that can hold up to 3 cars.

Interiors Description

The villa is located on the first floor of a prestigious 18th century mansion and has been recently restored and elegantly furnished in a rustic Tuscan style. There are wooden floors in the rooms and terracotta in the other rooms. Villa Paola has an area of 250 square meters and an independent entrance. It consists of a large kitchen equipped with a dining area, a fireplace, a living room, a terrace with a table and chairs, three double bedrooms each with bathroom (with shower), another double room that can become triple and another bathroom with shower.

Kitchen

The large kitchen (30 sqm) overlooks the garden and is equipped with a table for 8 people.

Kitchen Equipment

Equipment for cooking and dining: stove / oven, fridge / freezer, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, coffee maker, cleaning supply.

Linens

All linen (beds, bathrooms, kitchen and swimming pool) is included and a weekly change is provided (on Saturday). Extra towels for the pool (€ 5.00 each) or extra bathroom towels (€ 21.00 per person) are possible on request.
