Villa Serena - A stone's throw from Cortona in the peaceful Tuscan countryside

The 19th-century Villa Serena is part of a residence that also includes 2 small Cottages. Each structure is completely independent. Each has its own private entrance and private garden area.

The beautiful city of Cortona is less than 1 kilometre away – guests can even walk there enjoying the wonderful views of the Valdichiana and Lake Trasimeno areas. It is near Arezzo, in the centre of the ‘golden triangle’ of some of the most important artistic sites in central Italy: Arezzo, Perugia, Siena, as well as Assisi and Florence which are just a short journey away.

Garden Description

The property is about 1 hectare that is enclosed by a fence. The Villa has a private garden area for relaxing outdoors. In the Villa’s private garden there is a terrace with a table, chairs and a barbecue for outdoor dining, while enjoying the fabulous view of the Valdichiana valley and Lake Trasimeno.

Parking Facilities

The large parking area is shared with the other guests of the residence.

Pool Description

The pool is shared with the other guests of the residence. It is located 50 metres from the Villa, and is equipped with sun umbrellas and chairs.

It is open from the 15th of May to the 30th of September.

Interiors Description

Villa Serena is about 250 sq. metres, and has been completely restored. There are high, wood-beamed ceilings and terracotta floors. It is finely and elegantly decorated.

Ground floor: Large living room with fireplace, fully-equipped kitchen, small bathroom.

Upper floor: A staicase from the living room leads to the upper floor where there are 3 double bedrooms that are elegantly furnished with antiques and 2 bathrooms (one with bathtub, one with shower).

Kitchen

Next to the living room is the fully-equipped kitchen, about 15 sq metres. There is a table for 4 people.

Kitchen Equipment

All dining and cooking equipment: stove/oven, microwave, refrigerator/freezer, coffee machine, dishwasher.

Linens

All linens (bed, bath, and kitchen) are included, for which there is a weekly change (on Saturday). An additional change of linens can be requested at an additional cost.
